| A
new range of small diameter lightweight flywheels has been specially
produced for the Duratec 2.0L & 2.3L engine. The diameter has
been made as small as possible, that still allows for a starter motor
to be fitted to the engine block. They are 268mm in diameter, we've
produced them to accept the 7 ¼" (184mm) & the 5 ½"
(140mm) clutches. The new smaller diameter reduces inertia & depending
on the type you pick, the smaller & lighter the clutch the greater
the reduction is inertia & the faster the engine will be able
to accelerate. Must be used the special designed
starter motor. |
