Single
wire oil warning light wiring for MBE995 displays
Pin 27 on the MBE 992 ECU needs to be configured (normally downshift input source) as the oil warning light trigger pin.
Note - this
can only be done when the downshift unit is controlled via the built in
timer and not via the 992 ECU.
Wiring instructions:
When
the oil pressure drops low enough to activate the switch the unit is grounded,
this in turn grounds pin 27 of the ECU and via the configurable map inside
the ECU the low oil pressure warning light is illuminated on the 995 display.
