Please note -

1. We recommend a leak down check be done before engine is stripped down.
2. If leak down is less than 5% - do not change rings or hone block as the rings do not need replacing or bores honed.
3. If leak down is more that 5% then block should be bored to next size not just honed, as honing will increase the bore size and will give too much piston to bore clearance.
4. In extreme cases when engine has not bedded in correctly and is burning oil, a 1 off very light hone can be done and then re run in the original rings.
5. Piston rings are NOT returnable so please ensure you complete this form correctly.
6. This form must be competed in full & full payment received before rings will be despatched.
