We have developed a supercharger kit especially for the Suzuki Hayabusa 1300cc engine (currently up to 2007 engines). We used a completely standard engine with no modifications, apart from up-rated clutch springs to cope with the extra torque.

We decided to use a wide belt drive design; this gives a gentle transmission of load from the engine to the supercharger. The carbon intake system has been designed to give an even airflow as possible into all four throttle bodies. The engine was mapped using the new MBE9A4 ecu (we could also reprogram the MBE992 to do the same).

The main aim of the system is to produce a package that could be simply bolted on with the minimum amount of work. We are extremely pleased with the results of 318bhp/162lbft torque, which wereachieved on DTW Engines dyno.

From what we have seen initially on the dyno, we will be continuing the development of this engine kit further over the next couple of years to produce upgrade kits. We will be initially designing a new piston to allow the engine to rev higher & produce, we believe, in the region of 330bhp.

The complete kit will include: supercharger, complete dry assembly & fitting kit, intake plenum, SBD throttle bodies, throttle position sensor, 690P injectors, 4.5 Bar fuel regulator & mounting, fully programmed MBE9A4 ECU, wiring harness, air temp sensor & extension lead, dump valve, piping, silicon hose & jubilee clips, heavy duty clutch spring kit, ITG air filter.

*We would recommend the use of an intercooler with this kit, however we cannot include it in the kit as each installation is different.
