Super Clutch CNC billet aluminium “Basket” or “Lug Drive” type open-sided clutches with metallic or organic friction material, in single & multi-disc configurations, and 4½”/114mm, 5.5”/140mm, and 7.25”/184mm sizes. The most common type of clutch we sell is the track clutch, it has good all round durability, it is extremely light & is ideal in 90% of the applications. We use it on our own sprint & hillclimb cars. If you are using a F20 gearbox, it is recommended you use the track clutch with twin plates as there is limited space within the bellhousing, but you would need a special release mechanism & bearing. Contact us for more information. We normally recommend double plate versions in most 2.0L applications. Smaller engines can run single plate & some severe duty can run triple plates, but the clutch can be built with different spring rates to suit your application. |

The track clutch is a cross between a race clutch & a rally clutch, the plates are not quite as thick as a rally clutch but extremely capable of absorbing reasonable amount of heat. Used regularly nowadays in rally, sprint & hillclimb & track day applications. They are lighter than the rally clutch.has sintered plates, available with either double or single plate versions with various spline sizes. Shown below is the twin plate 5.5” version.
The sport clutch has organic plates to improve control in both double & single plate versions with various spline sizes. Recommended for road use & very mild track use. Shown below is the twin plate clutch version, weight approx 4.1kg.
The rally clutch has sintered plates, it’s thicker plates absorb more heat from the effects of stopping & starting, this is recommended for ultra-heavy duty under conditions where the car is extremely heavy or the driver is particularly agressive & uses the clutch alot. Available in both double & single plate versions with various spline sizes.
