You
must fit the exhaust manifold before the shell is finished, as with
some rear wheel drive cars using wet sump; sometimes the sump has to
be modified. Please click

Some modifications to the shell, engine mounts of cross member may be
needed, as everyone fits engines in different positions (especially
rear wheel drive) and we cannot guarantee that it will just bolt straight
on. It would be impossible to us to have produced a manifold that suited
every car & installation. We have made all our manifolds using a
donor car that we hope is characteristic of the majority of installations.
If your car is unsuitable for the style of exhaust manifolds shown below, you can purchase our exhaust system designs, which you can then have made up by an exhaust manufacturer. Please contact us for details.

Fast road Exhaust manifold
This Exhaust manifold has been designed as a direct replacement for the standard version. The primary and secondary pipes are enlarged in diameter and length. This manifold gives a good increase in power (approx. 6-8BHP when used with good quality exhaust system) from 2000 RPM.

It can be modified to fit the MK2 Astra 16v High specification exhaust manifold It must be fitted with an exhaust system with a minimum diameter of 2.5". (when fitting all exhaust studs must be removed & replaced with cap head bolts)

Power Pipes
Got an XE in your old ford? Did you know that if you are using the wrong exhaust manifold you could be losing power? This manifold from SBD is the dog's danglies and offers the ultimate flow for your Luton lump. It may weigh in (see price list for current price) but it offers a much better flow than standard clubman-style exhausts and you will almost certainly notice the difference in performance, particularly on modified engines.
