6 mapping software
|

This
software is simple to use & all our MBE ECUs come ready programmed.
You can download & install the Easimap 6 software free of charge.
When you connect to your ECU via the appropriate hardward (see below),
once you have powered the ECU up, Easimap will then identify the ECU &
software version you have & automatically select matching files. Before
progressing any further, we advise you to read the comprehensive help
file within Easimap. We recommend you make a copy of all the data within
your ECU, before attempting any modifications.

Easimap
6 requires Windows XP, Vista & Windows 7 to run.
|
|
Easimap
6 has been specifically designed to be used with MBE CAN based ECUs. The
CAN interface system is very fast, which copes with the increased amount
of data that is required to be transmitted between the ECU & computer.
|

|
Please
install the PC software first before plugging in a USB interface, ECU
or mapping box for the first time. This will ensure that Windows finds
the driver software correctly.
|

|
To
download the full working version of Easimap 6, simply click on
the picture left.To
install: open the zip folder, start the setup.exe programme. It
should install immediately, however depending on your computer,
you maybe required to restart the computer allow the necessary drivers
to install. Once restarted, continue with install, following the
instructions on the Easimap 6 Setup Wizard. NOTE: If you have already
got Easimap 5 installed on your computer, you should tick the box
to allow Easimap 5 project files to be copied to Easimap 6.
Upon
download you will only have basic access, this is so as to make
it easy for the beginner. For the more experienced user, click on
the profile on the bottom right hand side of the screen, you will
then be able to select 'Advanced Level 1' without a password. Master
level is only accessible by MBE staff, not of any use for the end
user.
Because
the MBE software is being continually upgraded & new functions
being added to the latest ECUs, we suggest that Easimap 6 is downloaded
regularly to your computer to ensure you have the latest version.

After
installing Easimap 6, you should plug in your MBE985 mapping interface.
The software will normally install the drivers automatically however if
you have issues, please see the our help
sheet.

Mapping
Kits
|
|
|
|
|
The
MBE-MAP-KIT-3-CAN (MBE985)mapping kit is required
to convert the information from your high speed USB port
to the CAN data required by the ECU. This is available from
SBD. You would also need to confirm the interface on your
wiring harness as an additional adaptor maybe required.

|
A
professional mapping kit is also available for the CAN based
ECUs. MBE-MAP-KIT-4-CAN

|
We
suggest you spend as much time as possible teaching yourself how to use
Easimap software. Unfortunately, due to the cost of giving technical assistance,
it now means we will have to charge.
If you require technical assistance, this is chargeable at £23.50 per
15 minute intervals (e.g. if 20 minutes is spent, 30 minutes will be charged).

for Easimap 6 software. Have your credit card details readily available.
