Easimap 4.14d
Easimap 4 is a legacy calibration and setup tool for MBE ECUs, appropriate for earlier systems (e.g. 956, pre v460 941/967).
Windows 95 or later is required to use this software. There may be an issue with installation on Windows 2000/XP. If the installation freezes mid-way, cancel and retry the installation.
Instructions
Download
the Easimap 4 installer from
here and save it to your PC.
Run the downloaded installer on the PC where you would like to install
the software. Burn onto a CD or use a USB memory key to transfer the file
to the installation PC if it does not have web access.
When the installer starts, ensure the 'When Done Unzipping run .. setup.exe'
box is checked and click 'Unzip'. Follow the on-screen instructions.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
All serial type ECUs must only be linked to your computer using either a SBD mapping lead or a lead manufactured exactly to the details shown below. DO NOT USE A STANDARD SERIAL LEAD AS THIS COULD CORRUPT YOUR MAPS/PROGRAM, DAMAGE THE ECU OR EVEN THE LAPTOP.
A professional mapping kit is available for the serial based ECUs.
