THERM-DURA2
We have a new thermostat & housing to replace the standard Ford electronic version, this allows your cooling system to work in a more traditional way without the need for an electronic control system. When using the standard water pump the unit is a simple bolt-in replacement. Shown right on our display engine.
When using an electric water pump, this housing is ideal as an inlet into the engine; you simply remove the original thermostat & use the housing.

THERM-DURA3K
When using an electric water pump, you have 2 choices on entry into the engine depending on your installation & which type is most suitable either from the front of the engine or from the side.

The blanking plate shown replaces the original thermostat housing & is a neat & tidy option. It includes an o-ring to seal the engine.

When using the blank, we currently modify the standard water pump to make a new lightweight entry into the engine.

If the installation when using the electric water pump suits entry into the side of the engine where the original thermostat housing would be (see standard thermostat (THERM-DURA2) We would then modify the standard water pump to make a nice neat blank. WT-DURA-03K

This new water outlet we have developed is very compact, ultra lightweight & especially designed for use with electric water pump installations. We have placed the coolant temp sensor directly into the back of the head (shown on far left picture) to give an accurate temperature reading as possible. We have found in tests over many years than when using an electric water pump we do not need hoses larger than 25mm id, this significantly reduces the amount of water carried on the car. It will accept either the Ford type coolant sensor or Bosch equivilant (our part number WTS1).

Ideal for use on Westfields, Caterhams & single seater cars.
