Kevin runs our 250bhp Taper throttle body kit on the 2.0L XE Vauxhall engine in his Lotus FVL & has been doing well in the British Sprint Championship over the last few years, regularly competing in the Top 12 Run-offs. He was 8th Overall in 2006.

Melvyn Lealan reported on the event at Pembrey in the Bristol Motor Club magazine & included the following comments:

'The only real positive to come out of Pembrey was that Steve Broughton of SBD spent some time with us running through the MBE programme on our laptop. I left it to Kevin & Dave Cutcliffe to follow what Steve was doing. From where I was standing they looked more like Dumb and Dumber, but hopefully they took in enough to allow us to carry out adjustments and troubleshooting should we need it. No doubt the troubleshooting bit will come in handy. I must say that Steve and all his guys at SBD have been more than helpful over the last few months and I can honestly recommend him and his products to any BMC members. I was also pleased to see his partner Kim is getting back on her feet at last after her awful accident at Cadwell last year.'
