This kit is a competition progression from the first upgrade.The torque and power increases are quite substantial. The torque spread is very wide & flat thus allowing the driveability to be maintained. The MBE Ecu comes programmed & ready to run.

The power increase has been achieved by an increase in lift on the cams to generate the extra power, with only a small increase in duration. For this reason we use double valve springs to take the extra lift, with a change from hydraulic to solid followers thus necessitating in a change of platforms & caps.

For the Multi-throttle kits, it will be necessary to upgrade the injectors to the smaller high flow peco injectors INJ-480P along with changing the fuel rail. Also the fuel regulator should be upgraded, please see the Recommended options section of the Multi-throttle Basic Kit.

Additionally you may wish to consider the installation of a dry sump system for added protection, unless your class rules prevent it.
