This upgrade is a natural progression from the basic kit, it combines the awesome power of the basic kit with a nice improvement in torque & is achieved by adding different cams, new vernier pulleys, springs & platforms, but still retains the hydraulic tappet structure. However in order to accommodate the higher lift & duration of the cams, new Omega pistons will be required.

This kit has been designed to give a nice all round improvement in performance without becoming unsuitable for road use or difficult to be fitted & set up. The MBE Ecu comes programmed & ready to use.

It is ideal for Caterham 7s that are either already running the basic kit or wish to convert their HPE without major alteration to the standard layout of the car (please ring for more details).

The carburettor upgrade particulary suits the Escort installation where space is at a premium.

This upgrade especially suits those starting on the rally scene, it is not twichty & has a good wide torque curve with a very wide power band. It is also eminently suitable for fast roadwork.
