This upgrade produces an approx 30 bhp increase over the basic kit and combines the awesome power of the basic kit with a nice improvement in torque. The MBE Ecu comes programmed & ready to run. The power increase is achieved by an increase in lift on the cams to generate extra power, but without increasing the duration. Due to the increase in lift, it requires a change from hydraulic to solid followers. This involves a change in valve springs, caps & platforms.

For the multi-throttle kit, It will be necessary to upgrade the injectors to the smaller high flow peco injectors INJ-480P along with changing the fuel rail. Also the fuel regulator should be upgraded, please see the Recommended options section of the Multi-throttle Basic Kit.

Once you have progressed to this level of upgrade, it would be worthwhile to consider cylinder head work and inlet manifold porting to increase the bhp by an additional 20bhp. This would include a changing the valves to wasted stem type along with bronze valve guides.

Additionally you may wish to consider the installation of a dry sump system for added protection, unless your class rules prevent it.
