Exhaust manifold type needed to run this with this kit *A-1.6L-XE
The carburettor basic kit allows the 1.4L 16v engine to release approx 20 to 30 bhp increase, which is normally strangled by the standard induction system. The inlet manifold is our own design and can be supplied to suit either a vertical or 7-degree mounted engine. Please state which type you require when ordering.
The carburettors allow the intake system to breath and the MBE management system controls the ignition. It has a built in rev limiter system and shift light which has been already programmed to suit standard engine requirements & ready to run.
The wiring
harness is supplied as standard with an input for throttle position sensor
so a TPS sensor can be added either when ordering or at a later date.
If you would like to make an adjustment to the program with the ECU for
yourself, a mapping input can be added to your wiring harness before dispatch.
You may wish to replace the standard Corsa coil with our more reliable COIL-4, which suits distributor less engines. Shown left is the coil and our specially developed bracket & adaptor plates for the 1.6L engine.

You may wish to upgrade the rod bolts to heavy duty bolts which will allow you to increase the rev limit from 7250 to 7750.
