Valve Guides
VL-G3 Bronze valve guide Bronze guides are very hard wearing & if you do have a problem with your engine which causes valve to piston contact the guide may distort slightly, but this is very unlikely to break. Whereas the valve guide made from iron will either crack & fall out at a later date causing a second failure or break into small particles imbedding themselves in the piston & head, so if your budget permits use bronze guides.

Steel valve cap for the 1.4/1.6L XE & Ecotec, for use on Hydraulic & standard spec engines. This cap increases the installed height of the valve spring by app 1mm over the standard spring & cap arrangement which becomes coil bound at about 10mm Must be used with Single valve spring set VLS-05K Set of 16.
  
Titanium valve cap 3mm in installed height reduces valve seat pressure to minimum to reduce power losses 1.4 &1.6L 16v XE, for use on high spec engines ONLY SUITABLE FOR USE WITH SOLID CAM FOLLOWERS can be used with double valve springs must be used in conjunction with valve platforms VLP-1 & VLP-1K. Valve spring platform (1mm thick) this is used to locate the inner & outer valve spring, (Needed on double valve spring sets only) to the guide on the 1.4/1.6L XE 16v engine. Set of 16 The standard valve platform is not suitable due to the increased diameter of the uprated springs.

Cam follower solid type made from very light material with a longer skirt than standard to accommodate the very high lift cams where the base circle may need to be quite small the extra 2mm helps prevent the follower from rocking & wearing its bearing. Sold singly or in sets of 16.
